COVID-19 continues to switch and roll all over the world. This has led more and more companies to take measures to save lives. Sony decided to keep people at home with video games that…. Could really work? They are damn fun, well considered. Hence the Play at Home initiative.
Play AT Home is Sony's digital life jacket, two games offered for free via PSN. Curious players can enter Journey and The Uncharted Anthology for free from April 15 to May 5. It's actually four games, not two. Which is even better. Promotion is even ready to help independent developers.
How, could we reasonably ask? Well, they are not really connected significantly. Sony has just removed $ 10 million for small studios currently struggling with this crisis. Logistics behind this gesture is still troubled, but the rules should be revealed very soon. The funds are reserved for Sony's "independent development partners", which means that it is probably internal studios and affiliated companies that receive the boost. It is not yet confirmed, but it would slightly mine the authenticity of the touching gesture. Keep an eye on the PSN system to find out when these two games are available. Both would be a great way to spend time during these quarantine days.
