Ah, the poor old PS Vita. Sony's second-generation handheld has been largely abandoned only a few years after the start of his life, as a result of rather lamentable sales and a lack of dedicated software support. But as for any game system, the Vita certainly has its unconditional fans - and for what it goes, we always thought it was a small machine particularly smooth.
Anyway, we are in 2022 and Vita is always snobbed by Sony. The Japanese giant has unveiled its PlayStation more reworked service, which includes three more and more expensive subscription levels. The most expensive of these levels, PS Plus Premium is basically the PlayStation response to complete backward compatibility.
A premium subscription gives you access to a selection (currently unconfirmed) of PS1, PS2 and PSP titles, which, to our knowledge, can be broadcast or downloaded on PS5 and PS4. A catalog of PS3 games will also be available in streaming.
Of course, Vita is the only PlayStation console that lacks pleasure - there is no mention of the handheld in the Sony ad. Now, it should be noted that some VITA titles have used the additional control methods of the hardware, such as the rear touchpad or gyroscopic motion sensors. This could potentially make the emulation of these games much more difficult on PS5 and PS4, which could explain the absence of PS more vita - at least in part.
But it's still a little pity that VITA is neglected again. Obviously, we do not know yet which classic games the premium level will include - we are of the opinion that it must be a very good selection to justify the price - but without Vita, much will say that it brushes a painting Incomplete in the playstation history.
