Sony's latest PC translations are an excellent example of the All Winning principle in practice.
As a PC player, I have been able to enjoy numerous great console enthusiasm translations. Why?

The component shortage and the mess of coronal logistics were unfortunately reflected in the availability of graphics cards and PS5 consoles. The downside of the coin is that Sony created a pleasantly strong pressure to find new sources of cash flow outside of console sales and the effective use of its exclusive licenses.
The logic of exclusive publications is clear. When enough AAA spills are found only on the player, there is no choice for player masses than buying that hardware. In this way, proceeds are generated from both devices and software. But what to do when the latest devices are stuck on the Suez channel?
The agile business model developed: old games could get a new life on new platforms! Sony has traditionally considered the best of his consoles to be the exclusive right. In particular,Horizon Zero Dawn_ and God of Warin Different manifestations have at least produced a whirlwind in the direction of consoles.
However, I have kept my head: when an expensive machine has been invested, you get enough Jukopliut! Now Sony has decided to reward my bullfight. The quality of the translations has been delightfully high and I have been able to pump out power from my graphics card.

However, the equation requires balancing: when the publication is milked with a console, it is time to produce a new life with PC. The interests of the players and the Pisnesmen will hit the hands as new players groups are able to share the cultural enjoyment. However, the steak is that you do not want to jeopardize your device, so the conversion games are at least a bit old.
It is also noteworthy that not everything has been translated. For example, ratchet & clank is still an exclusive publication of the player. It is uncertain whether it will ever be turned to PC. There are attempts to interpret the signs of forecasting games from Sony's investor films, Steam's log files and other occasional star patterns.
Translation of the Finnish Returnal is also rumored. This would be a new business, as it is a fairly recent 2021 release, which is only available for the latest generation of players so far.
Such an approach is called a strategic ambiguity. In world politics, this means in practice that if the state's reaction method cannot be assessed with high reliability, it cannot be utilized. If the reaction method was already known, the other party could escalate the situation so little that there would be no fear of the reaction yet. In the event of uncertainty, safety margins must be larger on both sides of the table.
In the case of games, this means that multi-players cannot optimize their purchases. Maybe bloodborne will come to PC in a year or three, maybe never. Postponing purchases in the hope of a PC conversion is not a sustainable strategy if you want to enjoy the publication in any meaningful time span.
In any case, no one has anything to lose in the situation. Sony gets money from old games, PC players can enjoy a couple of years old cultural classics and PS5 still sells like a carbon monoxide. Win-win-win, Say!
